Ken Jeffrey was ordained and inducted as minister of this church on Thursday 25th April 2002. He was born in Dundonald, Northern Ireland and brought up in Holywood, Co.Down where he attended Sullivan Upper School and was a member of 1st Holywood Presbyterian Church, Bangor Road. He studied History at Stirling University between 1988 and 1992 and graduated with B.A. (Hons).

From there he went to Malawi in Central Africa where he taught English and Bible Knowledge amongst the students of Livingstonia Secondary School, as well as coaching the school's football team. In 1994 he returned to Scotland and began his theological studies. He graduated with a first class honours B.D. from Aberdeen University in 1997.
Thereafter he worked as a part time lay associate minister at Oldmachar Parish Church, and undertook post graduate studies with Professor D. W. Bebbington at Stirling University. He completed these studies in 2000 and graduated with a PhD in History. His thesis, entitled "The 1858-62 Revival in the North East of Scotland" was published by Paternoster under the title "When the Lord walked the Land" in 2002.

Before coming to Cupar he completed his training for the ministry at Rubislaw Parish Church in Aberdeen, where he served for two years as Probationer Assistant.

He married Linda in 1993 and they have three children, Sam [b 2001], Anna Rose [b 2003] and Adam [b 2006]. He enjoys gardening, walking and reading and is also an ardent fan of Manchester United Football Club.
